Box’s Culture of Engagement Gets a Boost with the VolunteerMatch Network

Volunteerism has long been an integral part of Box’s epic corporate culture. The technology company, based out of Redwood City, CA, wanted the process of finding and signing up for volunteer opportunities to be as easy as possible for their employees.

With VolunteerMatch’s Network Subscription, they were able to consolidate their giving platforms and incorporate thousands of searchable, real-time volunteer opportunities.

The result? In less than one year, volunteer participation among local and remote employees increased eightfold—from 5% to 40%.

“It saves me from having to plan all opportunities, especially in areas that I am not personally familiar with,” explains Christina Louie, global program manager at Box.org. “We can easily find out who has needs already, rather spending time on cold outreach to nonprofits.”

Learn more about how Box improved efficiency and boosted employee engagement thanks to their volunteer program and integration with the VolunteerMatch network. Download the case study.
