VolunteerMatch Launches #WeHeartHelpers in Honor of National Volunteer Week

April 20, 2020

VolunteerMatch is excited to announce a week’s worth of activities to honor volunteers in celebration of National Volunteer Week April 19-25.

In an era of social distancing, VolunteerMatch is leveraging its website and social media channels to highlight helpers who are the heart and soul of our communities.

“Social distancing may be keeping us physically apart, but our connection to community has, in many ways, never been stronger. At VolunteerMatch, for over 20 years, we have been inspired by incredible stories of people giving their time and talent to help others. This week, we’ll shine a light on the people and organizations who make our world a little brighter every day. We hope to spark some joy for the helpers who are doing so much for others. Volunteers are the personification of the phrase, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” – Laura Plato, Chief Solutions Officer, VolunteerMatch
