We invited reporters from Justmeans.com to this year’s Client Summit in Chicago, where they captured interviews with administrators from many of the nation’s most effective corporate volunteer engagement programs.
In this interview with Jason Shaw from Justmeans, Kellie discusses the topic of her keynote, her research findings, and what emerging global trends in CSR mean for corporations looking to do some good in today’s world.
Kellie is Founder of the Center for Responsible Business at UC Berkeley. The Center for Responsible Business is a place where students, companiesand faculty come together to explore issues of corporate responsibility, challenge existing notions of business’ role in society and create a new generation of business leaders committed to redefining good business. At the Summit she presented findings from her research and trends in the area of CSR and employee volunteerism.
Today’s trends range from “really depressing to really idealistic,” Kellie says in the interview. She lists the key messages she hopes companies will take away from her research and her presentation at the Client Summit.
