  1. We are a 501 (c ) (3) nonprofit and we are starting a mentoring prisoners project where we assign volunteer mentors to actually go into the prison to begin the mentoring process with men and/or women who are going to be released in 90 days. We follow up after they are released for a minimum of a year. We assist them in making adjustments to their re-enter the Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. We do this by helping them to be job ready, counseling, finding affordable housing, etc. We are looking to place a minimum of 30 volunteers.
